These are the most comfortable heavy-duty boots I've ever bought. Yes, they're heavy; yes, the soles are a little stiff. But after only half a day they felt completely broken in. I wasn't even thinking about them. I'm impressed with the cushioning and shock absorption on concrete. I selected this style because they were advertised as so much more wear resistant. Too soon to opine on that, but everything else is 5 star. That includes looks--just enough western look to the toes to be stylish.
