Unfortunately can only wear it for about fifteen minutes and then it becomes uncomfortable--I wish that somehow it could be better strapped to body other than to one's chest area. Might work okay for some.

It helps, it really helps. It fit well but was challenging to put on the first few times I wore it. I think calling it a brace is a misnomer. It should be called a compression band. It took several wearings before I became used to wearing it. I finally got the point of wearing for several hours at a time. After wearing it I regained some of my mobility. I pretty happy to find something to help with sprained shoulder.
