I put these up on my horse's stall at Christmas time. His stall is 24 feet wide and these fit perfectly up under the shelter. I used zip ties to secure them. I bought these because I didn't have electricity available. They come on each night at the same time and turn off five hours later. Set it and forget it. Great for small displays

The lights work perfectly for the small application I wanted them for. The battery box has a water tight seal and the timer works great. Having a timer is a great idea as you don't need to physically turn the lights on and off every night on an outside display. They have multiple patterns you can select or constantly on. I can't say how long the three AA batteries will last as I have only had them on three nights. They are not too bright but work great for me.

The Best Performing Timer Lights On The Market

Very high quality and performance. There are eight selectable modes for these lights which is bound to satisfy any effect you want to achieve. The packaging is very durable and holds up well against the weather in outdoor use. The internal timer is high accuracy digital with an ON period of 6 hours followed by an OFF period of 18 hours for a total of 24 hours. This means you only turn it on at the desired time on the first night, and the timer automatically self-repeats on its own without further intervention from you for the rest of the season. The lights are powered by three AA batteries, and it's best to use the Lithium 1.5 Volt AA batteries, which hold up well in the coldest temperatures. Alkaline batteries become problematic at colder than 32 degrees F and aren't worth the trouble.
