It is designed to handle a wide range of large drilling applications. Even with all this power the unit is designed to keep the user in control. In addition to the integral clutch, the DeWalt anti-rotation E-Clutch System, offers technology capable of detecting the motion of the tool. This feature senses the motion of the tool and shuts it down if necessary.

Tough is an understatement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They sure are serious when they call it dewalt “tough”. This drill is a beast! I use it when wiring up houses and it drills through the timbers with ease, all day long. It drills through hard wood like its nothing. The power in this thing is unbelievable. 10/10 my favourite tool, I tell everyone that will listen how good it is

Better than the rest
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a residential electrician And usually do rough ins.This dewalt tool is better than any other corded or cordless superhawg or hole hawg. It has so much power even using a dull 7/8 bit will blast thru any studs with or without nails. It hasn't overheated or malfunctioned after heavy use. I even let a plumber drill a few holes with and he was impressed. The product itself feels very well built. Has led light built in so when drilling in dark area is no prob. No need to rely on temp power/generator/cord. I believe this dewalt tool is a no brainer and wish dewalt would have came out with it sooner

An absolute beast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do commercial plumbing. Having this drill and the previous model that I was also so happy with is a game changer. So much power. So much freedom. The clutch works amazing. I wish it had a hook that would allow it to hang off of a 2x4 or edge of ladder though. I recommend not only this tool but all my dewalt 60v and 20v tools.
