[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GEARWRENCH GWMBS39XPS 39 piece set is a compact kit that works well for jobs where space is limited. One of the things I like most is the case design. The foam insert can be lifted out completely which makes it easy to carry just the tools you need to the job and set them down where you are working. When you are done everything drops back into place and stays put which makes it easy to keep in a car or small tool bag without pieces moving around. The stubby sockets are a big plus and are noticeably lower profile than standard sockets. They make a real difference when you are working in tight areas where clearance is limited. The 120XP locking flex head ratchet is short enough to maneuver easily but still long enough to loosening or tightening fasteners. The fine tooth ratchet also helps when you only have a small amount of space available. I like that the set includes both SAE and metric sockets along with hex and torx bits which lets you handle automotive work small engines and random projects around the house without switching sets. The one thing I wish it included is a 1/4” inch hex to 1/4” inch socket adapter so the hand driver could be used as a nut driver. Even without that it feels like a good value compared to tool truck brands. If you are considering this set it's an easy recommendation and should pay for itself after one or two completed jobs.
