I first got this CD when it came out over a decade ago, and just now am replacing it when it got stolen a few years ago. Never heard anything else like it! It has all the excellent guitarsmanship (is that a word?) of heavy metal bands, without the heavy. These are generally upbeat songs, without being quote "easy listening" or "adult contemporary," because hey, I'm still in my 20s! I still the classic metal bands, but have also grown out of the more pointless heavy metal stuff that's out there. The best tracks on this disc are Venus Isle, Pavilion, and obviously s.r.v. But the entire CD is excellent however, well worth the buy, and this has made me an Eric Johnson fan for life.
