Gregorian Chants

This recording is drawn from three primary sources; the daily prayers as sung by the Benedictine Monks of St. Michael's De Laudes, songs and Benedictine masses of the Monks of the Benedictine Abbey of St. Benoit and a Cycle of chants by the Ambrosian Singers who have added discrete harmonies to serveral of the original plainsongs. The evocative bells were digitally recorded at the peaceful mountain retreat, The Blessed Convent of Maria Near Plein Ciel.
