Great First Effort!
I just used my new 6.5. Qt Dutch Oven to prepare a White Bean Soup with Smoked Ham Hock. It cooks so evenly! I really love the light colored inside as it makes a big difference being able to see how onions (or other vegetables) are progressing before it's too late to avoid overcooking. A very pleasant surprise was how easily it cleans up. Does it cost a lot of money? Yes, but you truly get what you pay for. I've wanted one for years and I regret I didn't buy one before.
