Ozark Trail Men's Red Lace Hiking Boot

Bought these boots to give them a try since they were so cheap. Wanted to replace my wide boots for something a little more narrow. These boots are surprisingly decent quality! High ankle support and feels strong. Also, feels like good rubber on them too. Pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price. I would just say that you should prob buy an insert for comfortability since they are lacking a little in that area. But cheap china boot that actually isnt bad!

For the price of Ozark Trail Red Lace Hiking Boots how can you go wrong. Here's one person's opinion. Live in New England where's there's rocks and roots on the trail so a stiffer boot is required. This is stiff but not to stiff, and suede boots are lighter but seem to fall apart quickly . Drier conditions probably don't require that. First off 3 of the 6 laces on each of the boot side are speed hooks, so easy on, easy off. Uppers are man made leather look alike material. Yes they run a little large, but with a 1/4 gel insert they fit great, or order 1/2 size smaller without any inserts. First time out my heel was coming out of the boot while climbing hills, but now they're broken in that's no longer a problem. Laces are top quality, and more than long enough. Remove laces and snow seal with hair dryer right out of the box if you want to seal out any water. Great traction, under 30 bucks and great ankle support.
