My 5 year old loves it!! The quality seems sturdy enough but not heavily padded like some bags are. Also I knew beforehand from the product info that the lunch bag isn't insulated, so i was already planning to use it as a detachable supply bag (pencils, scissors, glue etc.) since the backpack doesn't have a front pocket anyway! It's perfect!
