    Love this rug! Even softer than I imaged. My puppy decided to pee on it the day I laid it down and I was able to machine wash it with no issues at all. Looked just as great after being washed and dried. Great bonus for a toddler's room! I did have to lay a gripped pad down underneath as it kept sliding on my hardwood floors, but that's to be expected. Actually made more sense for a kids room since it made it much more comfortable to play on.

They sent me a free replacement immediately with no hassle at all. I'm so pleased! That said, the rug is very soft. It doesn't really need a rug pad unless it will be ran across, but for a reading corner or something it would be fine without one.
