Face Balm as a Relief

Masks are required in most places these days. Sitting at the office with a bunch of other people I am required to wear a mask all the time except when I am eating during the lunch break. When I am alone at the office room, I can take the mask off but as soon as someone else walks in, I must put it back on. Going to a restaurant or shopping, I still have to wear a mask since the masks are required. As a result of friction of the mask against skin, my face had red irritated spots that were itching and chafing. Such an unpleasant effect of the mask wearing! This Face Balm helped me to reduce friction, chafing and chapped skin. It contains vitamin E and aloe that are good for your skin. I applied it generously to my face skin, ears and nose, where friction or rubbing can occur. The skin became much healthier and smoother, so wearing a mask stopped being such a problem. One application per day, usually in the morning, seems to be enough, but applying it for the second time in the afternoon could be a good idea as well, especially if one spends much time wearing a mask on a job. Showing it to your dermatologist may be a good idea before you start using it, and in my case it worked amazingly well, being a relief and helping to wear my mask more confidently since it appears that masks may be required for a few more months.

The Balm!

After applying this balm on my face area before putting on my face mask sure did make a big difference! It comes in a tube, like chap stick so it's very easy for anyone to apply! My skin feeling better w/this balm on because I don't have chaffing and it also feels like it moistures.

Recommend for those wearing tight fitting masks

This MedZone face balm is made with all natural ingredients like coconut oil, beeswax, shea butter, and aloe. The balm is designed to create a soothing barrier between your skin and your mask to prevent chafing and irritation. It comes in the form of a travel-sized tube, resembling chapstick. You can easily apply directly onto your cheeks, ears, and nose, where irritating friction can occur. It goes on smoother than chapstick and has a greasy feeling for about 4 minutes. After than it leaves the skin soft, moisturized and smooth. It's not waxy like chapstick and it's not as greasy as vaseline. However, it's too greasy to apply behind my ears as it gets onto my hair. It works to keep your skin moisturized but since I have oily skin its making my face feel slightly more greasy so I have to use it sparingly. It does help with chaffing but it doesn't help alleviate pain behind the ears which is usually caused by the pressure of the elastic being too snug, not rubbing. I find mask extenders work better at reducing pain behind your ears. I will continue to use this on my nose and cheek bones and have my daughter wear it during her clinical rotations. For the average worker or layman, its probably not necessary but I imagine for first responders, doctors and medical staff wearing secure masks for 12 hour shifts this might help if they are having irritation on their cheeks and nose. It is also good for scuba masks and CPAP wearers. It has no scent or odor. It also came with a very nice thick micro fiber cloth for cleaning glass or phone/computer screens
