Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 is a decent overview of Doug Stone's country ballads recorded for Epic in the early '90s. Among these Top Ten hits are "I'd Be Better Off (In a Pine Box)," "I Thought It Was You," "Come in Out of the Pain," and his first number one, "In a Better Light."
