EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Super XC Gaming Graphics Card

Going from a 1070 to the 2080 super was an immediate improvement but the EVGA xc series has issues. The card runs pretty hot, not anything unreasonable but requires an aggressive fan curve to keep in the 70s under load. The cooler is also a lot louder than my Asus 1070 duo, would have gone for a triple-fan cooler instead but want to eventually move to an sff build. Also, it has an audible clicking sound every time the fans begin spinning. This is fixable by setting the fan curve to an inaudible RPM at idle (about 20 - 30 %) but still annoying for an over 700 dollar card. I'm keeping this because I will either move to liquid or replace it with the next Nvidia series card slated for this year at time of writing, but I would recommend a different brand if you want a 2080 super.
