Versatile & Small

I have had the 12-35mm f2.8 for more than a year. Along with the 35-100mm f2.8, these are my most used lenses. I used the Canon EF 24-70 f2.8L for many years and this Lumix zoom is just as sharp, but its much smaller size and weight make it a much more enjoyable lens to use than the Canon. The 12-35 on the G9 is a photographer's dream, and it is very versatile for video. Love this lens and so glad I made the purchase.

Great lens!

Easy to use, clear, balanced shots. Love to use the telephoto lens, the UV filters, card reader, screen protectors, and all the extras that came with my package. Can't wait for my next opportunity to use this lens! Pleased with this lens purchase!

A nice entry level zoom lens.

Pros: price, Good Entry Lens, Solid Although Plastic Cons: Other thoughts: I read the reviews regarding this lens on a few reputable sites, and the lens performs and works nicely for an entry level type kit lens. If you are a beginner or amateur, this would be a nice zoom lens to purchase. Most people that hobby in photography don't need a top shelf $2000 zoom lens.
