Easy retrofit added security and curb appeal
Bought this to replace single worn door knob with the cheap brass plating that flakes off over time. Installation was easy as the unit fit within my existing cutouts. Wanted the double cylinder as my entry has a sidelight. I felt the single cylinder with a turn latch would be easy for a intruder to break the sidelight and open the lock. You can tell right away the finish will stand up on this product. It was a huge upgrade not only in appearance but function. Much easier to open the door with your hands full versus the old knob.

Dimensions Differ
Replaced an existing Kwikset unit, the dimensions were not the same as the existing unit. The distance from the center line of the latch to the screw that goes through the door at the bottom of the handle did not match the unit that was replaced. Other than this issue the unit is well made and looks great.
