"The Kitten Who Thought He Was a Mouse"

I was ask to bring a book instead of a card for a baby shower, I looked for this book especially because it was my favorite story as a child. I wanted the book I took to the shower to be something special, at least to me. The twins have not arrived yet, I hope they and their parents enjoy this book as much as I did. The story is a sweet children's story about a mice family, a kitten, a family with kids and a cat. A simple fun children's book with a card board backing and lots of pictures.

Disappointed with wording and paper quality

I know it was paperback, but the quality was worst than I anticipated, very very thin. While I like the story, I didn't think it was nicely worded, like a 4th grader can write it. The naming of the mice should have friendlier names or easy to pronounce. I'm reading it and find myself skipping certain words and making up my own words because even I find it hard to pronounce or it just doesn't flow. in Conclusion, I am a better story teller than this book, and i would just show my toddler the pictures.
