My daughter is a bodyboarder. So far this watch has kept working despite the saltwater exposure. The features of this watch are everything you need for your recreational beach water sport or the pool. I told her not to push buttons while under the water, though it may be OK with this watch. The watch is smaller than we expected, which makes sense (women's watch). We bought the man's version for my husband and it is bigger. My daughter would have preferred the men's size for readability.
