Needed a kit to re-color portions of a leather chair. As noted, this kit contains three shades of brown - which is perfect for my needs. I first cleaned the surface per the instructions. I used the lightest brown as the base coat ( thin coat) - like a โ€œprimerโ€. I let it dry. Then I applied the next darker shade of brown, which is very close to the color of the chair. Again, a thin coat. Then I dabbed the darkest brown to match the color a little bit better.
