I bought one of these at a thrift store 10 years ago, thought it would last a year or so but this can opener lasted 10 years until the handles after thousands of cans opening fell off, 10 YEARS! It's cost is a bit high but this opener is worth it. I had to get my magnifying glass out to find out who made the one bought at the thrift store and then looked it up and bought a new one after my lady bought 3 cheap pieces of junk. You pay for quality!!!
