A work of art that is functional as well

Stanley the black chrome line of tools is great! I love the look of this hammer very sleek but manly, now I don't buy hammers for the look but hey new design like this deserves some admiration. It is a fine hammer and does the job right while looking great in the process. The key is durability and so far it's held up very well. Feels great in the hand and the swing is comfortable. I wish more tools were like this one. Stanley got it right with the new black chrome line. It makes a huge difference in any mans garage. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great Handle and Balance

I bought this hammer about 11 years ago and haven't bought another since. I've tried a few others at 16 oz and heavier weights but this is IT for me! I drive nails, hit boards and sheets of wood, heavy scenery, and steel. The head is great, the handle still feels good and the claws are still straight.
