This is cool looking but very heavy. I wouldn't really want my kid swinging it against a light saber-type toy. I worried it would be heavy for her on our Boo at the Zoo Halloween thing where she as Rey- she is 7 and did just fine.. It doesn't light up or make noise although it does extend, in a clumsy way.
