Stove top directions: 1. Pour beans into a medium sized pot (drain it if you like- some people prefer to discard the water and fill slightly over the beans with fresh water or broth- but there is nothing wrong with the water that comes in the can). 2. Cook beans in HIGH heat until boiling begins. 3. Lower heat to MEDIUM and begin to add any seasonings to your liking. 4. Allow beans to simmer for 5 minutes.

I ordered two cans of these beans for my mom. Once she received them, I noticed the shipping costs were much too high for her to afford. I started A return process and promptly returned the two cans of beans to my local Walmart. Well, I was only able to return 1 can because my Walmart app was showing that only 1 can was delivered. Both cans were actually delivered together. In fact, I brought the unopened package of two cans to Walmart. The cashier took one can and gave me the other because my Walmart app showed that the other can was still in transit. And it is still showing it in transit even after a few weeks. My mother only received refund on one can (less than $2) and lost over $14 she paid on shipping and cost of the other can.
