4-WAY STRETCHABLE. SWEAT RESISTANT:  This cotton spandex fabric by the yard is a 4-way stretch fabrics which means it stretches in both directions, crosswise and lengthwise. 95% cotton and 5% spandex blend yield excellent stretch quality with better elasticity. You can stretch 5-8 times its normal size.

SEWING KEY TIPS:  Always Pre-Wash any spandex jersey cotton fabric before sewing. Use a ballpoint needle or stretch needle as this will prevent skipped stitches. You can stretch stitch the spandex cotton stretch fabric by the yard, so your seams move when the jersey knit cotton spandex stretches to prevent broken threads.
