They really are Easy!

We had over 100 inches of rain this year and all of the horses soles are so soft. My primary riding horse had bruised soles and I had some events planned. My farrier suggested I invest in some Easy Boots while my horses soles healed. These boots fit like a glove! They are easy to put on and take off and clean up easy, too. (Yep, I have used the word Easy lots)! :-)

Simple to use, and does the trick

When I discovered that my large quarter horse had sensitive feet, a veteran rider friend recommended I look into boots for her. She's a pleasure horse that spends most of the time in the pasture, with short rides around the farm and an off site trail ride about once a week. Shoeing seemed a bit excessive for a horse that had been successfully barefoot for 16 years, and isn't being used too rigorously. The EasyBoot Trail provided the perfect solution. It's easy to get on and off, and rugged enough to withstand the rocky trails we have in this part of Pennsylvania. She has worn the boots on several trail rides and is not experiencing the tenderness she had without them. She doesn't seem to mind (or even notice) that they're on, and I've had no problems with them coming off on the trail. They did come off once, but that was due to operator error, not boot design. A young friend of mine rode the horse, and said she had experience with boots, so I let her put them on without any instruction from me. She neglected to really make sure the boot was snugly secured by the Velcro, and as a result one came off when the horse started trotting. I've ridden with them a lot harder since then without that happening, so I think one just has to be sure the boot is secured firmly and properly.

my mare loves her new boots

She has been using them for a few weeks now and she did not object to wearing them from day one. I ride trails but mostly got the boots for her to use on the roads before we hit the trails. Our roads are made of millings which are broken up pieces of asphalt. She was always tenderfooted and ouchy on the roads. Now I can trot her and she does not miss a beat. So thrilled with my purchase and did lots of research before I chose the Easy Boot Trail. Very easy to get on and off.
