Fine grit for car repair

The 1000 Grit Silicon Carbide Waterproof Sandpaper worked well at removing rust from the fender of my car. The fine grit did not gouge the metal, but left it smooth for little fill work after sanding. I have used a lower grit, but the 1000 grit is optimal and had a better performance. I like that I could use it wet or dry and the 5 pack was the perfect size for the few rust spots I wanted to take care of. Overall, I'm really impressed with the performance of the sandpaper.

Large Papers, Very Fine Sandpaper

This sandpaper is so fine and smooth. The gray color is uniform. It'll be good for buffing out blemishes that require very find sandpaper. I'll keep this handy.
