Craft County brings everything you will need to make the perfect soutache crafting kit! Soutache cord is a thin, flat braid that is mainly used in passementerie to add decorations to textiles. It can also be used in clothing and jewelry to add on embellishments or to hide unsightly seams. Each cord is measured to 3 yards in length and consists of a core made from two parallel cords with a decorative thread woven between and around them until completely covered in a braided herringbone pattern. We offer two materials of cordage, polyester and rayon, which will vary depending on the color you select. Our soutache cords all comes with a 3mm thickness, ideal for beads, charms, and jewelry.
