Full disclosure. I bought this because it was pretty. And frankly, I've never really had much of an opinion on food storage containers, I mean, it holds food, right? But this container- it is a game changer! Seriously, it is. What I like about this container: 1. It's so pretty. It gives me joy when I'm eating less than fun 3 day old leftovers at work. 2. It conducts heat. Granted, I learned this the hard way, when I heated said leftovers up at the same time I do using normal plastic containers. It heated MUCH faster, and beware, the container got hot. 3. The the spaghetti stain of shame doesn't happen on this bad boy. You know how half of your plastic containers look disgusting, from that one time you reheated you're lasagna, and the red sauce bled all over your plastic? And now you have the orangish/red ring of shame that looks like you never wash your dishes? Right. That doesn't happen on this stuff. NO red sauce staining! 4. And finally, it's pretty! Seriously. I love the design.
