This is a great MB. Perfect for someone like me doing their first new build! My only gripe is with a 10th gen CPU the gen 4 m.2 is disabled instead of running as gen 3. Not the biggest deal since there is also a gen 3 slot. The built in wifi is strong and I have had 0 problems with it on my network.

My ASUS PRIME motherboard came in a Cobratype Thunder Legend system package, along with an Intel CORE i7 processor, 32GB memory, and a nice case. The motherboard has two PCIe x4 slots and one PCIe x1 slot. I wanted to install three PCIe to USB3 adapter cards. I have found that those with the VLI chipset (usually VL805 + VL806), regardless of brand or number of USB ports, simply do not work -- Blue Screen of Death error WHEA_UNRECOVERABLE_ERROR or orange/yellow triangle in Windows Device Manager is the common symptom. Cards with the Fresco Logic (hard to find) or NEC/Renesas UPD 720201 + 720210 chipset seem to work reliably. I added 32GB more memory, moved the system image from the installed 512GB nVME card to a faster unit (and moved the installed card to the second slot to use for scratch space), added a pair of WD Blue SSDs as SATA disks for local storage, and so one. Working well once I figured out the issues with the VLI PCIe to USB cards.
