Cute and simple

This is a cute book for toddlers. The words are repetitive, and the illustrations are simple and not too busy.

sad things not sad

I would try to see the book before buying it. I just bought it. Some of the things that are sad in the book (sad to a baby) are not sad to my boys. My boys are 15 month old fraternal twins. The book suggests that taking a bath is sad, but my boys love taking a bath and get excited to be in the tub (they take a short bath every night before bed). The book suggests that getting dressed is sad, but my boys don't think it is sad (although they do run around when I try to get them dressed, they aren't sad, they are laughing). The book suggests that it is sad to go to bed too. Ugh! I try really hard to make going to bed a loving moment. I really don't want to read a book to them that suggests that it is sad. I would not recommend this book.
