This is a very well-manufactured item, all the mounting hardware and clear instructions were included, and it's working exactly as I hoped it would. I read a review saying there was no way to auto-retract the line--that's not true, it retracts easily by moving the button/lever on the left. I love that the line is coated too. I chose black components, used the metal mounting plates, and installed them outside under our patio cover, and couldn't be happier.

HOA doesn't allow clotheslines. This is very handy. It was mounted on a 4x4 pole ( supplies included) Initially it was difficult to seat the end of the retractable line in the receiver. I am very satisfied with this product .
