Beautiful but pricey
I have mixed feelings about this eyeshadow. It's beautiful and wears well (I bought the shade "lion", which is actually more vibrant in life than in the photos), but I am not sure it's worth the price. The packaging is gorgeous, which is part of the reason I purchased the product. Five stars for the product, three stars for the price. I like the product, but will not repurchase.
Glitter overload
This one broke my heart. The packaging is beautiful (and the compact has a substantial feeling to it), the "Elephant" color is gorgeous, the design of the product in the compact is so pretty and the commitment to the charitable cause is wonderful. But I sincerely wish I had heeded other consumer warnings on the level of glitter. It's almost Studio 54 level and pretty much unwearable for me in a professional setting. In addition to an overwhelming level of glitter, it does not stay put - even with a high quality eye shadow primer. By the end of the day, I had swaths of glitter under my eyes/on the upper cheek bones and flakes of it around my lips and on my chin. It's particularly frustrating for the very hefty price.
