JVCC UHMW-PE-15 UHMW Polyethylene Film Tape: 1 in x 18 yds. (Natural / Translucent)

JVCC UHMW-PE-15 UHMW Polyethylene Film Tape is a 15 mil ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene film with an aggressive acrylic adhesive. Its high chemical and abrasion resistance and extremely low coefficient of friction makes this a versatile engineering material for many severe service applications. Materials slide freely over tape surface with no-slip/stick tendency. High impact strength and shock-absorbing properties. Outwears Teflon many times over and is a good replacement when high-temperature resistance is not a requirement. Applications include: rub strips on conveyors; bearings and sliding surfaces; chutes and hopper liners; dead plates; wear pads; guide rails; tool tables and fences; furniture and drawer slides/runners. UHMW polyethylene tape is used primarily in automotive and mechanical applications. Meets automotive specs: Chrysler MS-CH612, Ford ESB-M3G123-B, GM 6419M. Wound on a white paper liner. Made in the U.S.

NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 25.0mm wide. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so most sizes ship on non-branded plain white cores. As with any adhesive tape product it is always the user's responsibility to determine that the product is suitable for their intended use; e.g. if you want to remove a product cleanly from a specific type of substrate please test on an inconspicuous area first.
