The Synergee Aluminum Technique Bar weighs in at 15 lbs and is the perfect option for new lifters! Learning a new skill takes time, patience, and incremental steps. The Technique Bar helps with that! It is 20-30 lbs lighter than average Olympic barbell. It has 28 mm diameter, dual knurl markings, and bushings to give a very comparable experience to a standard barbell. When you're ready to work with a standard Olympic Bar, the transition will be seamless! With 42,000 psi tensile strength rating and 200 lb weight capacity, this Technique Bar provides a worthwhile method to build strength and develop proper form for safe and effective workouts. This bar is compatible with standard plates and collars with 2” openings and can fit in a standard squat rack. NOTE: When you are consistently lifting 135lbs, we recommend moving up to one of our Olympic Bars.
