The Natural Fiber Collection features a wonderful assortment of soft sisal area rugs as well as many other sustainable-fiber floor coverings for the home or office. Think coastal living and casual beach house style with rugs so classic they’ll even work in the city. Safavieh’s natural fiber rugs are soft underfoot, textural, natural in color and woven of sustainably-harvested sisal and sea grass, or biodegradable jute. Available in a wide choice of natural and designer colors, and sizes to fit any room, including hallway runners.

this is a heavy duty quality. some reviews say it smells funny. it smell like straw, the smell airs out. this is a thick quality item. roll it in the opposite direction and do a little pressure on that roll to get the runner to lay flat. highly recommend

Hello Ravesmon, thank you for your positive review. We recommend airing out a new rug for a few days as all of ours rugs may have a new rug odor, especially if it is a natural fiber rug. Leave your new rug in a well-ventilated space with your doors and windows open and frequently vacuum over the first few days. For a quicker fix, open your windows and place a fan where it can blow across your new rug. In a small space, consider a portable air filter to help with new rug odor removal.
