[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 1/2 in Female to 3/8 in male drive adapter is just a basic tool that makes it possible to connect 2 parts that are different in size. I have a driver that I could not use because I could not find an adapter. Now I am able work on my lawnmowers without all the turning that is needed for a socket wrench. I was able to put a work bench together without any problems, and the adapter did not pop off the driver. This adapter should last for many years
