Long day use, hiking, roofing, waterproof.

I have bought this same pair 3 years in a row. They get beat up working in the rainy Seattle area, working on very steep roofs, pressure washing, as well as hiking on weekends. Will stay dry in heavy rains and walked through low streams during hikes with no water getting in. Bottoms started wearing to the grey part after 10 months of heavy roof use. Still lasted for me the last two months to make it to a year. Rocky needs to keep making these, I will buy every year!! The legacy 32 hiking boot is amazing for work or hiking. Highly recommend. Also very comfortable even after 14 hour shifts I wasn't anticipating taking them off.

Just buy these things folks!

I purchased these boots ahead of a hiking trip out in the mountains around the Seattle area, and was blown away with how well made they are for the price. I live in the Midwest and these retain heat and keep moisture out well enough that they've also become my snow shovel boots during the winter months. As for performance during the hikes, they were comfortable and supportive, and a couple times helped save me from a rolled ankle! I was able to stomp through shallow streams without feeling any sort of moisture get into the boot and soak my socks. On top of that, I feel like I only needed to wear them a few times before my initial trip to get them broken in. Since then, I've gone back out West to that same area and these boots have continued to hold up with no issues.
