Crap I couldn't even fit the smaller plug into it

I bought this waited a crazy amount of time for it to have to be shipped, just to open it up and find out that it's way too big to fit and a Sega Genesis generation 2 and I was kind of bummed considering Sega Genesis requires a 2103 AC adapter only this thing must have fit the original AC adapter because it wouldn't even fit in the slots neither outlets....
