Yummy snack or salad topper!
Orchard Valley Harvest Glazed Walnuts and Berries Salad Topper is great for on-the-go meals. I bring lunch to work every day and I like that I can just include one of these packets to go with it. It is great over salad for the added crunch, but I like it right out of the bag too. Orchard Valley Harvest uses expeller pressed sunflower oil and sea salt along with other ingredients. According to the package this product is low in sodium and doesn't include any artificial ingredients. Best part about this, I think, is that when I read the ingredients list, it's all stuff I can pronounce. Here is the full ingredients list: Glaze (sugar, expeller pressed sunflower oil, sea salt), walnuts, dried sweetened cranberries, dried sweetened blueberries. All around a great product that makes things more convenient! As a cute side note, my three-year-old wanted to try some of the nuts and berries, but upon opening the bag she said, "You better eat it. I don't think I'm going to like it." I encouraged her to try it anyway and as soon as she popped it into her mouth she said,"Mmmm," and took the bag. :)
Valley Harvest Glazed Walnuts
I make salads at least five times a week and I added these glazed walnuts on top and it took my salad flavor to another level. The glaze along with my other salad toppings made me want more. This is now one of my favorites because of the flavor and the texture it gives my boring salads. I would definitely recommend this product.
More than just salad toppers
Orchard Valley Harvest Glazed Walnuts Salad Toppers, 0.85 oz (8 Pack) are really a great idea! They are fresh, tasty and I can use them in so many ways. Put them in salads, use them as toppings on cottage cheese, yogurt and ice cream. Even used in cereal, hot or cold. With glazed walnuts, and dried cranberries and blueberries, the uses are as large as one's imagination. I love walnuts and so these salad toppers were something I just had to try. I admit that escarole salad isn't the most exciting salad to eat, but with the salad toppers, it became an experience and the toppings give you texture and crunch as well as a complete array of flavors. With the glazed walnuts salad toppers, I have the individual serving bags in just the right size so they keep fresh. The walnut pieces are a perfect size, not too big and not too small. My only wish is that there were more glazed walnuts in each package. In reviewing them, I ended up eating 3 packages because they were just that good. They are non-GMO (genetically modified organisms) which is extremely important for me to know and it does not contain any artificial ingredients which are equally important.
