The Magicians: The Complete Series (Blu-ray), Universal Studios, Sci-Fi & Fantasy

Timely arrival from Walmart. Package "looked fine". Unfortunately, one of the disks is flawed. NOT a Walmart problem, as it is clearly a factory issue. Worst case, I will have to return the (whole) package for a replacement, and I have no concerns that Walmart will handle that properly, even though this is ultimately, not their problem. I am TRYING to use the Universal disk replacement web site to rectify this issue, but that site is currently "broken" (with repeated "try again later" responses), so I've circumvented it, and sent an email directly to Universal (only yesterday, so no response at this point). Hopefully, I can get them to "pony up" a replacement, and not make it a Walmart problem. There seem to be a lot of complaints about the quality of this release. Certainly the single, CLEARLY defective disk, should have been caught at the factory. Also, the disks are all in one LARGE case, and because of its size and weight, the latches that hold the disks are EXTREMELY tight, making it difficult to remove each disk. These should have been broken up into "sets", that would not have required the ridiculously difficult latching on the "monster-sized" case. (I'm transferring mine to more manageable, standard blu-ray cases, which hold six or seven disks each.) So... Great service (and pricing) from Walmart; and the series looks great on BRay. When/if you get it, at least take the time to pop-out and examine all of the disks for perceptible flaws, which will hopefully avoid problems later. (Universal should have handled this release much better than this!)
