So far so good. I've split close to a cord of oak wood in two days. It hasn't missed a beat. It handles knots like a champ. Assembly to about an hour. First time starting it took a couple dozen cranks but since then it starts usually with one pull - two at the most. I'm very pleased with the splitter.

Fairly easy to assemble. Be careful with sharp wire ends on unfinished clear return hose. Easy to move around by hand to where the rounds are. Plenty strong enough to split recommended diameters. My rounds were 16" long by 18" diameter. Needed to add additional hydraulic fluid after first use. Exactly what I wanted.
