Alien Gear Holsters does not design products to be like the competition. We are not content to come up with a holster or accessory design, put our stamp on it and put it on sale just because we'd have one to compete against the other guy.

When we come up with a holster design, we want to change what you expect from it. To alter the nature of it in such a way that you wouldn't want to have it any other way - and that is exactly what we set out to do with the Cloak Mod OWB holster.

The first thing you'll notice is the reversible design. Few holsters are capable of more than one way to attach to the beltline. The Cloak Mod comes with two belt attachments, so the wearer can choose to wear it as a slide-on or paddle holster.

The paddle holster attachment, made from a proprietary ultra-durable polymer, has a pronounced retention lip for extra hold. While some paddle holsters can seem to attach loosely, our paddle holster grips when inserted into the waistband and doesn't shake loose.

The belt attachment will go onto your belt and will not come off, until you take it off.

Reversing between the two is easy. Simply follow the instruction pamphlet and install the belt attachment of your choice. If you want to set a different cant angle, align the attachment screw holes with the backplate and install as normal. Belt attachments can also be ordered to fit either a 1.5" or 1.75" belt - specify which you'll need at the point of purchase. You can also elect for a soft or hard plastic belt slide attachment.

If you'll only use one belt attachment, we recommend the use of thread locker, and specifically the blue formula of popular thread locking compound.

You'll also notice the retention. The top surface is an advanced rubberized thermoelastomer that grips your firearm without marring the finish, but you'll note the trigger guard retention bump. When holstered, this bump holds the trigger guard, securing the pistol beyond the retention force of the shell.

The spring steel flexplate also puts further tension against your pistol, enhancing the retention even more. The rear plate, made from glass-reinforced nylon, provides a strong base to the holster, ensuring years of service from your holster.

Like all Alien Gear Holsters, the Cloak Mod OWB holster comes with our Iron Clad Triple Guarantee. First is a 30-day "Test Drive" trial period. Wear your holster up to a month. If unsatisfied, return it for a refund within that time frame.

You also get a lifetime of retention shell trades. If you sell or trade your pistol for a different one, send us the old shell and tell us what new one you need and we'll send it to you - on the house.

Lastly, we warranty all holsters for life. The Cloak Mod is built to give you years, if not decades of service, but should anything go wrong - whether due to defect or damage - we will fix it, or give you a new one. Forever.
