Like most "universal" C-Flaps, they typically will not match up perfectly with most helmets. Therefore, you will probably have to drill a hole or two. However, they do provide all the pieces you need, as well as, a cardboard template to line up the flap correctly.

9U kid pitch requires a c-flap in our league and it will help the boys feel more comfortable at the plate and keep them safe. C-flaps are highly suggested over face masks to give the boys more visibility, but use what makes your kid feel safe. The only drawbacks are the coloring (red, white, black, navy) in high gloss doesn't match many of the popular matte helmet colors on the market right now and there's got to be a better way to install rather than ripping out the helmet padding on the earpiece to get the hole drilled. Helmets have enough complaints about padding longevity without me starting the install process by ripping the padding loose.
