Max & Lily Solid Wood Twin over Twin Bunk Bed for Kids with Underbed Storage Drawers

I was very leery ordering two sets of bunk beds, especially with not seeing them in person first. . . I spent countless hours searching the Web for the perfect set of beds. . . What I gave most thought to, was what happens if there's a part missing, or damage and so on. . . Am I calling China? Or somewhere else where it'll never get resolved?. . . So. . . after reading the feedback from Max & Lilly, I pulled the trigger on two sets of twin bunk beds in dark blue for my Shore Summer Home. . . I did hire two men to put them together for me. . . I had hoped to do it myself, but my schedule didn't allow. . . It took the two of them 11 hours. . . I was glad I didn't do it! Lols. . . The color is perfect. The quality is also perfect! I am glad I used Max & Lilly would do so again and again. . . they are truly a quality act!

Boxes they are delivered in are quit heavy. Our carrier person or someone who loaded her truck had obviously dropped one of the boxes as there was evidence of this on the box. Part of the bed frame was showing through the box. Upon opening the box for assembly, there was a part of the frame that was smashed. We did not file a claim or return because the smashed piece would be out of site as it was to go against the wall and nobody would see it. In summary about this review Max&Lily needs to consider breaking down the twin bunk beds into two separate boxes to reduce the weight. Our carrier person was not big enough to handle the box this bunk bed came in. Max&Lily, you're asking for trouble with damaged product claims. Also the instructions are poorly written. Questions in your survey have forced multiple choice answers, none of which I would choose.
