However, should the unit fail under normal use, this Warranty covers the electronic components built into the hat, specifically the fan, fan motor, and solar panels for a period of 30 days (one "1" month). The straw, fabric, and straw hat itself are not covered. The term "normal use" means when correctly worn, maintained, stored according to directions, and protected from deliberate or accidental catastrophic damage.
