These are the same thing you get at the pool store but better priced. My relatives comment on how clear /low odor my water is :) I use these to keep the need for chlorine low . You need to also use along side potassium monopersulfate aka non chlorine shock and shock with disclor on first use and periodically shock with any chlorine . Keeps the water smelling nice . It needs replaced every 4 months and you can tell when it stops working which is good because you know it does make a difference.
