Cover and protect a wound for a safe and comfortable recovery with this McKesson island dressing. Suitable as a primary or a secondary dressing, it offers three layers of defense. One of these is a low-adherent layer that protects the wound surface while an absorbent gauze layer absorbs exudate. Keep the McKesson gauze securely in place with a non-woven adhesive tape border that also reduces the chance of external contamination. Prohibit skin maceration by soaking up light to moderate amounts of exudate. You also have no need for additional tape or other adhesives to keep the white gauze in place. Use the flexible properties of the material to conform it to the shape and contours of the area of application. This adhesive gauze is latex-free, making it safe for those with skin sensitivities and allergies. Employ this dressing on a wide variety of wound types, with the 6-inch x 6-inch measurements covering a large area.
