Bambi (Walmart Exclusive)

Bought this for my 5 year old. Should have read it first! While I do know the story from my childhood and remember “sad parts” I expected a cute story about Bambi and thumper. I did not expect to have to explain the circle of life and hunting to my 5 year old. This goes through hearing gun shots and how “your mother can't be with you anymore”. Im no stranger to firearms. Im licensed in multiple states, but I'm not cool with a book sold in the toddlers section to give my children a lesson in hunting and death.
