I had been looking for a good camp sandal for use on LD hikes and this one proved a perfect balance between weight and durability/protection. Other sandals had proven too bulky and heavy, or too lacking in sole ruggedness and toe protection. These were lightweight, crushed down easily in my pack without damage, and yet had a heavy-duty hiking sole and fully covered my toes.
