Best most reliable retro/modern MP3 player EVER!❤️

I used to have one before, but while doing work it broke because there was too much pressure on the screen so i had to buy from a different brand. I say broke but in the time during the incident and getting a new mp3 player, all functions still worked flawlessly even if i didnt have a screen. I simply knew what to do from memory. I used the new other brand for a bit (some random unnamed brand that makes that cheap brick style mp3 players) but it broke in like less than a month. I bought another one and guess what? It broke! Because of software issues somehow? Screen glitched out and everything. So, I went back to GPX. The off brands were cheaper, but the 308Rs are worth the money. I got a new one and i immediately was more than satisfied. Things to look forward on- 1- very straightforward There are no weird animations or odd formats or useless marketing features. Despite this it has many many features like an equalizer and like 10-20 different languages! 2- Turns on nearly every time You can chuck this little nugget across the room and it will turn back on like nothing. Almost always turns on. 3- Easy to use The format is easy and simple, the SD card ejection is easy, the accessing the uploading files is easy, it is all programmed with every detail in mind. You can even upload files to the SD card by plugging in the MP3 player through the charging port (which is USBC by the way!) 4- Usability I love the tactile controls and the small but not microscopic feel of holding the device is very convenient. It is nice to walk around with it and click through songs. The screen is small but programed to show the upfront information you need, and is extremely bluetooth compatible. I use my JBL 200BTs with it all the time and all functions (vol up, vol down, skip, back) all work. Obviously voice commands dont work because well Mp3 player But when you turn the volume up with the headphones, it acctualy turns it up on the mp3 player AND the headphones and i find that very nice. It dosnt work the other way around, but i also find that convenient. Things i want to look past... 1- in GXP, shuffle is shuffle. You can shuffle through songs just fine, but if you accedentaly skip a song, you cant go back because it shuffles backwards, but you get used to it after some time. 2- only 3 playlists There are 3 playlists. Playlist on the go 1 Playlist on the go 2 Playlist on the go 3 When you hit "create new playlist", it just sends you to the songs but you cannot have more than 3. I get around this by using folders as playlists because you can access music through a folder, but you cant have 1 song in 2 folders unless you make duplicates :( 3- Clip retainer is rebellious The pin that holds the (very convenient and very nice to fidget with) clip on the back of the MP3 player has started to slide out as of recent, but it seems to be like it wont take too much to fix. Just watch out for it ;) Overall, i love this thing! Its the best MP3 player and if it ever breaks (if), i will NOT hesitate to buy another. You can buy them new, used, whatever. They will work no matter what you put them through! Dont drop them into water or put 60 pounds on the screen, but they are light so they can take a crash landing and they are strong and can take a beating. Software-wise they are also just as indestructible, i havent seen a single glitch while my 2nd janky off brand was inverting colors and glitching so hard that i couldn't use it. The MWB is the best bang for your cash you can ever get if you want a MP3 player that you genuinly want to use. Also the Triefcase? Hold the down/- button for a bit and the lock (i love calling it the Trifcase because of "Dissapointed 1000", thank you for that) will unlock and you will be free. There was a problem with the side buttons accedentaly clicking if it hit another object in your pocket, but the trifcase (lock) feature solves it. Nearly everything was thought of, thank you GPX!!! 10/5 stars, love it!!! Nothing like it on the market! Chinese plastic has never made me happier!! ^▽^

5 out of 5 stars review

One of the longest piece of tech I have ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally got a mp3 player from my mom (this company) where I was in elementary now in 11th (nearly the end) grade the screen is giving out but all other part are fully functional. (minus the back clip but that broke recently) and I could not recommend this product more. Even if I don't use this product to its full's (Bluetooth and radio) All of the stuff I do use works wonderful and the battery life even after all this time last over 8 hours. and with me looking over my new one all "new" things are fully practical (c-port and added settings) To some up I'm glad this is still in production and I'm looking forward to many more years to come. :]
